Privacy Policy

What Roster Routes collects when you visit the Site, and why.

Verified against the live site, not generic boilerplate.

• Usage analytics — Vercel Analytics. Aggregate, privacy-focused page-view analytics (page views, referrers, rough location). No cross-site tracking.
• Session recordings & heatmaps — Microsoft Clarity. Records anonymized on-site behavior (clicks, scrolls, navigation paths) so we can find and fix UX problems. Clarity uses cookies/local storage to do this — see Microsoft’s privacy statement for what Microsoft itself collects.
• Error monitoring — Sentry. If something breaks, Sentry may log technical details (browser, OS, the error and stack trace) to help us fix bugs. Not used to identify individual visitors.
• Account data (only if/when accounts are enabled). If you create an account, we store what’s needed to run it (email, saved boards/trees) via Supabase. We don’t sell this data. Not live as of this writing.
• Advertising — not currently running. Roster Routes doesn’t run ads today. If/when we add advertising (e.g. Google AdSense), this section will be updated first to disclose ad cookies and opt-out options before ads go live — check back if you’re reading this after ads have shipped and don’t see that update.

We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it beyond the service providers above (Vercel, Microsoft, Sentry, Supabase), who process it only to help run the Site.

Most browsers let you block cookies or enable tracking protection; this may limit analytics but won’t break core site functionality. To request deletion of any account data, email rosterroutes@gmail.com.

Roster Routes isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date changes when we do. Material changes (e.g. adding ad tracking) will be called out specifically, not buried in a date bump.
